Application to the SDGs

We wanted to touch on the Sustainable Development Goals to see which applied to our project. The SDGs that don’t directly apply to our project are grayed out below, leaving 10 of the 17:

No Poverty: the affordable-housing element of the project

Zero Hunger: from the ground floor grocery store and the plan to employ people who live in the building to work at the grocery store

Good Health and Well-being: EnerPHit applications will make the building more comfortable and with better filtered air

Affordable and Clean Energy: we hope to make this building very energy efficient while keeping cost in mind

Decent Work and Economic Growth: this would otherwise be a vacant building, so this project aims to provide community development and neighborhood growth

Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure: this project was born out of a very unique circumstance and is making innovative use of existing architecture

Reduced Inequalities: this is the low-income element of our project

Also relevant to our overall project objective:

Sustainable Cities and Communities

Responsible Consumption and Production

Climate Action
